The Boston Typewriter Orchestra

If a hundred white-collared monkeys are locked in a room for a thousand years, banging on typewriters, they'll eventually write Welcome to the Jungle... back from my old red-bricked neck of the woods, the Boston Typewriter Orchestra pounds out funky beats and jangling rhythms on old Selectra typewriters.

BTO is a collective endeavor which engages in rhythmic typewriter manipulation combined with elements of performance, comedy and satire. BTO aims to entertain the masses while providing a creative outlet for the creative urges of its members. BTO promises to protect customer confidentiality with the utmost vigilance while remaining irreverent at all times.

There's a video up on their site of a live-appearance, but you really lose out on the frenetic energy of their key-pounding performance. I suggest starting with Cornelius and then continuing on to The Qwerty Waltz.
