If a hundred white-collared monkeys are locked in a room for a thousand years, banging on typewriters, they'll eventually write Welcome to the Jungle... back from my old red-bricked neck of the woods, the Boston Typewriter Orchestra pounds out funky beats and jangling rhythms on old Selectra typewriters.
There's a video up on their site of a live-appearance, but you really lose out on the frenetic energy of their key-pounding performance. I suggest starting with Cornelius and then continuing on to The Qwerty Waltz.
These guys aren't just novelty acts: I would easily listen to their CD. And hey, if you're a boss at a major corporation, this is the perfect motivational CD for your typing pool!
