Oh my goodness me. Apparently you shouldn't mix French politicians with elite hardcore bloggers.
The burning contempt these geeks have for a mere potential head of a G-7 major power is kind of awesome. If these were a bunch of lawyers, or doctors, or architects having a big convention, they'd probably be all touched and impressed that a potential President showed up to address them. But these are
*bloggers,* man. They want those cheap, two-bit leaders of the free world bum-rushed right off their stage.
Bloggers have ruined a lot more politicians lately than politicians have ruined bloggers. When the two classes get eyeball-to-eyeball in the same physical space these days, it actually looks kinda hairy.
