Eurogamer reports that Nintendo gamers in the UK will be able to exchange Stars -- virtual points that they earn by registering their Nintendo games online -- for Wii Points, which are used to download Virtual Console games. They'll even be able to earn more Stars by registering their Virtual Console purchases and completing a survey.
In Japan, members of the Club Nintendo program can exchange the points they get for registering games for a variety of prizes and fun stuff, like Mario-themed hanafuda cards and limited-edition DS cartridges.
In America, we get jack shit.
