There's an old military axiom, and it goes something like this: Soldiers thing about tactics and politicians think about strategy, but generals? Generals think about logistics.

Well, thanks to logistics, Nintendo is thrashing Sony on sales, selling almost as many Wiis in its first month as Microsoft sold XBox360s.

According to NPD, Nintendo sold 476,140 Wii consoles on November. Sony sold only 196,580 PS3's. Microsoft shifted 511,300 XBox360s, though, of course, it's had a year to ramp up volume manufacturing.
