Seems like Microsoft may be more honest about the Plays For Sure promise than the company intended.
Music snoops are finding that tunes purchased from the Zune marketplace, which are supposed to only work on a Zune, will in fact play on a variety of devices bearing the Plays For Sure seal approval, Microsoft’s earlier and more friendly effort to get a grip on the digital music market.
Considering that loads of customers are reporting problems getting music purchased from the Zune store to play on a Zune device, this seems like another
“where were the quality assurance guys” development for the ill-starred gadget.
