Lots and Lots of PS3s for Europe

GamesIndustry.biz has all the recently announced details of the PlayStation 3 launch in Europe. It'll hit March 27, but the really interesting thing about the news is that Sony promises one million units on day one. Compared to Wii and Xbox 360 shipments, they point out, that's one shit of a lot of systems:

In comparison, 325,000 Nintendo Wii consoles were available in Europe at launch, while Microsoft has suggested that the estimated figure for Xbox 360 of 300,000 units is in the right ball park.

Sony also announced a launch lineup of thirty titles and accessory pricing (hint: expensive).
