The S630 and S730 are basic point-and-shoots with resolution of 6 and 7 megapixels, rspectively, and prices of $180 and $200. Both offer image stabilizaation for long exposures.
The L73 is a compact point-and-shoot with 7-megapixel resolution, 3x zoom lens, face-recognition technology to automatically adjust exposure and lighting for human subjects, a relatively fast shutter at 1/2000 of a second and Smart Touch controls that allow users to change exposure setting via virtual sliders. Look for it in April at $300.
On the high-end of the scale, the S1050 captures up to 10 megapixels, has a 5x zoom lens, face-recognition technology and anti-shake functions. Available in spring for $349.
