Dr. Randy Moran (a dentist) and his wife Brenda were such huge fans of Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea that they commissioned dozens of designers to recreate the Nautilus' subaqueous Victorian mansion interior as their own home entertainment theater.
“What could be more simpatico with the needs of a home theater than the Nautilus’ submarine theme?” asked Dr. Moran “In both, you are isolated from the outside world in luxurious comfort.”
The result is this brilliantly realized interior design masterpiece of cigar smoke, steampunk and velvet.
There ought to be a word for a deviant who wants to have sex with an entire room, because in the gelatinous blink of a giant squid's eye, I just became one. All hail the Nautilus!
