Don't you just hate it when you're barrelling down a monster wave, reach inside your wetsuit for your underwater camera and get tossed by the time you get the shot framed?
Novelty camera maker GoPro thinks it has the answer with the "Digital Hero 3," a 3-megapixel waterproof digicam attached to a big Velcro wriststrap. The idea is that the camera is there whenever you've got a spare second (and finger) to press the shutter.
The camera also captures video at 30 frames per second. It runs on AAA batteries and SD memory cards and retails for $140. Target market is thrill sporters such as skiers, surfers, kayakers and climbers.
