A little scheduling heads-up here. Wired contributing editor David Kushner, who wrote a cool story in January's issue about NASA's search for the missing tapes of the Apollo moon landing, will be doing an appearance in Second Life on Thursday to talk about his article. So sayeth our colleagues at the Wired Game|Life blog:
It will take place on an amazing build designed by the crew from the International Spaceflight Museum.
This terrific virtual museum features presentation spaces, educational installations, and brilliant recreations of spacecraft like the "Eagle"
Apollo 11 lunar module, which my avatar is standing in front of in the picture above. The presentation will take place in an ampitheater they have constructed next to this simulation of Tranquility Base.
