Sure, it's actually pretty specific when it comes down to it, but for the silly-patent warriors out there this looks like a doozy on first sight: Apple patenting the humble lanyard.
Of course, the "ornamental harness" thus described also includes an iPod connector (with pictures of said music player in the application), and offers enough detail to summon the round-edged pearly aesthetic, even in a mere line drawing.
I just have one question. If the lanyard has an iPod connector, to what, exactly, is the iPod sending data? Why bother patenting something purely ornamental?
