Vivendi has finally nailed down a date for its upcoming sci fi action title based on (insert choir of angels) Battlestar Galactica. Fans of the* best frigging frackin' series* on TV will be able to choose sides as either a freedom-fighting Colonial or a genocidal toaster Cylon sometime this Fall. The game will be available via digitial distribution for the PC as well as on Xbox Live Arcade.
Don't confuse this title with Battlestar Galactica Online, also suppodesly due out this Fall. The "Online" implies that there will be some MMO-ery afoot, while this new XBLA title will focus on space battle between the Colonial and Cylon fleets. Just let there be Achievement Points for making Baltar your bitch, that's all I ask.
