Best Buy recalled about 10,000 remote controls for a low-end DVD player on Friday Hells_flames because the devices could burn your fingers if batteries are inserted backwards.

The retailer said it had received a report of a remote control for an Insignia 100W DVD Compact Shelf System player overheating, but no injuries were reported.

The remotes have model number NS-A1113 printed on the front. Consumers with one should call Best Buy at 888-809-7022 for a free replacement.
