The Pixma iP3300 and iP1800 are both compact models that print at up to 4,800-by-1,200 resolution. Differences are printing speed and ink cartridges--the $80 iP3300 uses individual color cartridges, while the $50 iP1800 has a single color cartridge.

That single color cartridge, by the way, costs $20, so the printer will be cheaper than the ink after a mere three replacement cycles. So much for Kodak's brave little bid to change the economics of the printer business.
