Today marks the return of the Deviant Artist of the Day feature, and with its return, a bit of a change in direction: although we're not going to mess with a perfectly good title, 'Deviant Artist of the Day' will no longer necessarily feature simply artists who have pages on Deviant Art. Now, it's just whatever cool artist catches our fancy.
Today's Deviant Artist of the Day is Norihiro Sekitani, a Japanese collagist who we first discovered via Pink Tentacle, a blog after our own cephalophile hearts. Pinkie describes Norihiro as "Medical book meets manga meets porn."
And if that doesn't do it for you, how about an artist with so little pretension that when asked about the symbolism of his use of internal organs, he simply responds, "I use pictures of bowels because they have such beautiful colours! My artwork doesn't mean anything more than how it looks. There is nothing more that I want to explain using words."
