European gamers have been moaning and groaning about having to wait for their PS3s, but looks like Sony is trying to make it up to them by giving a free copy of Casino Royale to the first 500,000 buyers that register their consoles on the PlayStation Network. Congrats, Sony! You have finally devised a gimmick that just might make me cave in and drop the cash for your shiny new Blu-Ray player/game machine. Mmmm...Daniel Craig. Teh yummeh.

Sony's VP of brand and consumer marketing, Darren Carter, gave into a wee bit of hyperbole when he called the giveaway a "phenomenal incentive," but it certainly doesn't suck. It's pretty obvious what my feelings on the subject are, but I'm curious...which freebie would you rather get: Casino Royale or Talladega Nights, the Blu-Ray flick given away for the American launch of the PS3?
