Giant Robot Vacuum Cleaner

What happens when one of those huge litter-collecting trucks with the round swishing brushes starts buying drinks for a Roomba? The Intellibot IV800 is what, the offspring of a curious union of old-school power and carpet-wandering brains. Barona Valley Ranch Casino in San Diego is deploying the fridge-sized robot vacuum cleaners — and, of course, using it to get rid of a few positions.

"It used to take four staff members two days to clean the site using a conventional vacuum,” said Ahmed Ait-Lahcen, Barona’s director of housekeeping. “Using the robot, we finish in a few hours with one supervisor."

If one of these came into my possession, it would be equipped with circular saws and hooked up to a standard RC controller. Though not entirely sure what the next step would be, I'm sure it would be entertaining.
