Over at 1up, a concise but well-considered piece about how Sega can save the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. I am one of those people who take the position that Sonic the Hedgehog games were never that hot to begin with (also known as the "right" or "correct" position), so I don't see it as having fallen from some catastrophic height.
I'd still play Sonic 2 over the new Sonic games, though. So, clearly, there's something really wrong:
