Like the sentient debris of an exploded Rubik's cube, SuberBot's autonomous, interlinking modules will flip and stagger their way back together when parted, re-gluing themselves into fascinating examples of artificial intelligence.
These could be used to make cute digital pets — in the following video, a group assembles into a centipede-like thingy and starts arching its way over the carpet toward an immobile friend. On the other hand, it's easy to imagine these miniaturized into a cellular nano-goo, forming random fractal cancers inside one's body as they try to self-assemble their way to God.
