Okay, we know that 'tater chips don't quite fit the definition of a "gadget." But they're made with beer and all sorts of cool tech is used to ferment and brew hops. Besides, nothing gets you through the day like noshing on something that tastes faintly of booze.
Beer Chips are a spankin' new brand of kettle cooked spuds where the secret ingredient is, you guessed it, beer. More specifically, what tastes like a honey infused, amber colored beer—much like a Hefeweizen. Reactions to the chips among the G-Lab posse were mixed. Some claimed they could taste beer, or at least a subtle "malt flavor" right off the bat. Other crew members said the chips merely had a sweet and salty palatability. And Victor K., a talented designer and a man who has had the distinction of drinking hundreds of different beers (sometimes in one sitting!) reported "they taste like the house I lived in when I was 19." Whatever an individual's take might be, we noticed one solid undeniable constant: No one ate just one.
