In response to my writeup on Treasure Island Z for Wii, Capcom contacted me to clarify a few points:
- Capcom announced Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for Wii at E3, and it is still on track for 2007 release
- Devil Kings 2 was announced for Wii in Japan, but there has been no announcement of US release plans
- There are more unannounced games coming in 2007, and "at least one" should be announced in the next few weeks
Mea culpa, sirs -- I was laboring under the impression that Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles was purely rumor. Then again, considering that it's never been shown or described, can you blame me? I guess I didn't pay attention to everything that happened at Nintendo World last year, because apparently they had a short trailer. (What the hell? The Internet is such a liar. Here's the real footage. Again, I'm sure you can forgive me for never knowing this existed, being three seconds long.)
