One of the most common claims by those who believe in the supernatural is that they can't prove psychic phenomenon to those who have never experienced it, any more than photographers can prove his art exists to a blind man.

There's some issues with this solution (it presumes there's a way for a blind man to rule out the possibility that the room. A lot of supporters of psychic phenomenon want to argue that it's like trying to prove the third dimension to a Flatlander... but unlike a three-dimensional shape in a two-dimensional world, there should be no reason why the forces bending a spoon could not be observed by a skeptic.
