The future used to involve us traipsing around aimlessly, watching TV on opaque TV glasses, waiting until the (flying) bus with our name on it took us out for good. The Lumus PD-20 video glasses offer a new tomorrow, where we can see both YouTube clips and the real world.

Undesirable as that might be from a philosophical perspective, it will at least least keep us alive. The PD-20 works by casting the video from a tiny box hanging to the side of the frames, which then reflects from the lenses into one's eyeballs. They claim this still offers a full-color, distortion-free high-resolution image.
