An enterprising young poster on NeoGAF has taken the images of the PlayStation 3's USA motherboard and the redesigned, cheaper European one and animated them to show the changes. Non-trivial! The big one is of course the removal of the EE/GS chip that runs PlayStation 2 games; no surprise there, but lots of other stuff has disappeared off the motherboard too. Beyond3D has some analysis.
