CAA conducted the auction, which featured a 21 page treatment by Beattie, who wrote "Collateral" and "Derailed."

I'm not sure what to think. On the one hand, Variety points out that this probably won't be a huge disaster like the Peter Jackson Halo thing. On the other hand, no movie based on a game has ever been any good. So.
