Pocket Watch Made Of Bone

Rob Beschizza over at Gadget Lab points out these stunning time-pieces, built from bone. Rob explains the construction:

The Bronnikovs of Vjatka, in selecting bone, wood and ivory as the medium in which to make watches (including almost all internal components, excepting only springs and pivots), created something unique and expensive: the pictured 1865 model in bone went for $25,000 at auction

There's been a lot of talk lately about using your loved one's remains and turning them into artificial diamonds or sprinkling them into glassware as its being blown. I'd like to send my future children a message: when I die, you have my permission to carve apart my corpse, rip out my skeleton and make an incredible stop-watch out of it.
