No sooner than I whine about PSP firmware locking out homebrew software, a damn good reason comes along to grab Sony's latest upgrade: free use of T-Mobile WiFi hotspots. This is going to be incredibly useful in airports, heading to and from trade shows.

T-Mobile has about 8,000 hotspots across the country, at bookstores, Starbucks, and hotels they've convinced to ditch free WiFi.

All I need now is the firmware hack that'll let me use it as a wireless modem for my laptop...
