Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime sat down with the San Jose Mercury News at DICE, and told the paper that Nintendo is in the midst of a "full-court press" to catch up to Wii demand -- and illustrated what would happen if they fail:
Fils-Aime goes on to point out that the DS shortage is what caused the lower-than-expected January sales numbers, and that it would likely sell more in February. He turned out to be very right, although it would have been more impressive a prediction had the Mercury run this interview before the NPD data hit.
