UPDATE: As I predicted, cooler heads prevailed, Sony decided it was better to work alongside Kotaku, and they've been re-invited to the GDC stuff. Let's all go get drunk!
Crazy days over at Kotaku -- earlier this morning, they ran a story that purported to spill some details of an upcoming PlayStation 3 feature.
Sony, unhappy that the site ran the rumor, told editor Brian Crecente that they would no longer support Kotaku with any information not available to the public -- no executive interviews at next week's GDC, no invite to the media briefing.
I have a feeling that cooler heads will prevail before too long. Ultimately, I think Sony loses more by cutting Kotaku off -- isn't all the buzz they generate worth it?
