Sony CEO Howard Stringer said in an upcoming interview on CEO Exchange that if Sony fails with PlayStation 3, it will be because the machine is too damn awesome for people to wrap their heads around, reports Smarthouse:
The thing is, I absolutely agree -- PS3's problems can be attributed to Sony's pricing it out of the market with too much technology under the hood, while Microsoft and Nintendo are mounting an aggressive assault with cheaper tech and a more focused message. Certainly Sony can leverage their technological superiority down the line, but for now it's a hurdle.
