Microsoft, ceaselessly committed to customer delight, has released an update for the firmware that drives the less-than-wildly-popular Zune Media Player.
Version 1.3 makes the following improvements:
- Songs users were foolish enough to buy from the Zune Marketplace should no longer skip during playback.
- Better device detection and syncing when connecting to a PC.
- FM tuner no longer drains battery in sleep mode.
We still think assisted suicide would be a better product strategy.
