You've probably already seen the Wall Street Journal piece (here if you don't subscribe) that details the tumultuous first two years of Howard Stringer's tenure as top dog at Sony.
Suffice it to say, the piece does not paint a pretty picture. Particularly in the way it characterizes Ken Kutaragi's recent career move:
According to the Journal, Kutaragi was moved out of the top slot because he just wasn't bothering to consult Stringer about minor things like going over budget on PlayStation 3, or dropping the price of the unit.
Anyway, I could go on all day, but I'd rather send you over to Information Arbitrage for Roger Ehrenberg's analysis of the whole thing, including several (two) comparisons of Sir Howard to Britney Spears.
