EA's latest method of taking over the world has them joining forces with Endemol, a TV company that makes shows like Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, and Fear Factor. The new venture, called Virtual Me, will allow users make their own avatars with unique appearances, which they can use to socialize in online environments with other users. Man, what a great idea! If only someone had thought of that before! Oh, wait...

The TV bit comes in the virtual you participates in virtual versions of Endemol's TV shows. Will there be a virtual Howie saying "Open the case?" We can but hope. You can get to work on your Virtual counterpart when the Virtual Me website opens in a few months; Virtual Me will launch in earnest with the debut of UK version of Big Brother this summer.
