Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary
will be out for PC and PS2 on June 5, Eidos has informed us, with the PSP version trailing along slightly afterward. *Anniversary *is essentially just a remix of the original Tomb Raider, an homage, if you will, to the adventure that started it all. The story and key elements from the original are still intact for the most part, but Anniversary is a retelling of the first game. Eidos' Matt Gorman put it this way:

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is our way of paying tribute to Lara Croft and the history of the franchise by exploring the roots of what made the
Tomb Raider game successful.

I tried playing Tomb Raider on the Saturn when it first came out, and couldn't deal with the camera and controls at the, so perhaps this is the perfect way for me to revisit it. In honor of Ms. Croft's anniversary, here's a little bit of Tomb Raider trivia for you: Lara didn't have ears until Tomb Raider 3.
