A new locale called The End of Journalism has been created for old media wonks looking to commune with like-minded newsprint addicts. The site’s cryptic tagline reads: “Changing media. Growing competition. Vanishing trust.”
If you need a shorthand guide to figure out where the site stands on media, you need look no further than its logo (pictured right). Hovering over a pile of well-known media brands is the smirking, disembodied head of News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch (owner of MySpace, Fox News, The New York Post and nearly half the world's other media properties).
Sam Zell wanna-bes with no intention of allowing Google to molest their precious pages now have a central weeping wall.
