Everquest Artist's Work on Tour

You might not know the name Keith Parkinson, but you've definitely seen his work before. Whether it's the cover of EverQuest or Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, his style is sweeping, lush, and full of half-naked chicks and really big swords. An art expo, called "The Masters of Fantasy Art -- A Tribute to Keith Parkinson" is on tour now with three stops left: Arlington, VA, New York, NY, and San Diego, CA. Laura Naviaux, Senior Brand Manager for SOE, explained how this tour is more than just a whopping great advertisement for the newly-released Vanguard:

Our goal for ‘The Masters of Fantasy Art’ tour is to highlight the artistry that is integral to the creation of video games, as well as the influences of classical art on the industry as a whole. By showcasing Keith Parkinson’s work on the new Vanguard: Saga of Heroes online videogame and joining up with The Art Institute, we hope to raise the public’s awareness of computer and graphical arts as a discipline.
