A gent by the name of Matt slapped OSX onto an AppleTV and ran it against a middle-of-the-road Mac Mini using the Xbench suite of tests.
Overall, AppleTV scores 56 points to the Mac Mini's 110, and almost bested it in several categories, coming close in certain floating point routines, Quartz graphics tests, and whatever the dickens a "GCD Loop" is. It got hammered on OpenGL, likely due to current limitations of OS X on the AppleTV, which currently can't use hardware video acceleration.
