Activision and Hands-On Mobile have announced that the Guitar Hero franchise will soon make its way to cell phones.
This announcement was briefly teased in this morning's USA Today piece about Rock Band, but now we have the official press release, and it reveals... oh, nothing. No release date, no information on how the game plays. I'm guessing it'll feel more like Beatmania with sustained notes, but then, they might not know at this point, either.
Full release after the jump.
