Well, it took forever, but Gyruss will finally be available on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow. It was getting a bit Starcraft:Ghost there, for a while, and I admit I had my dark moments when I doubted it would ever actually happen, but the day has finally come.
As you might've guessed, Gyruss comes with an option to use "ehanced graphics," but I'd skip 'em if I were you. If you're playing a classic arcade game from the 80s, it should look like a classic arcade game from the 80s. For extra authenticity, have some Foreigner or Loverboy playing in the background.
If piloting through the galaxy, shooting enemy ships and asteroids doesn't suit your fancy (what the hell is wrong with you?), you can always try this week's other XBLA offering, 3D Ultra MiniGolf Adventures. Minigolf is always awesome, especially when it comes with its own course editor. And the windmill goes...heeeeeere.
