The* Hot Shots Golf* series, with its goofy characters and surprisingly robust gameplay, is getting a new spin-off for the PS2 in the form of Hot Shots Tennis. Clap Hanz, who've handled the Hot Shots duties for the past several iterations, will be handling the racquet action as well.
You can expect a similar kind of gameplay to *Hot Shots Golf *(granted, with fewer sandtraps), including cute characters, unlockables, instant replays, and simple-to-learn controls. Up to four players will be supported, and there will be plenty of different courts to choose from.
The golf games were always a ton of fun, so it seems reasonable to think that the tennis would an equally good time. Hot Shots Tennis will be coming out sometime in July.
