Insurance giant Lloyd's of London has issued its third climate change report. Though lacking the catchy title of their first report -- "Adapt or Bust" -- "Rapid Climate Change" is a good read, with an emphasis on environmental changes most likely to occur in our lifetime: sea level rise, melting icecaps, flood and drought.
Nothing fantastically new here, but it's smart and well-written, and there's something weirdly trustworthy about insurance company documents. Say what you will about the industry -- COUGHvultures -- but they does tend to take a clear-eyed view of reality. After all, gaming the world demands the best possible information.
