A terrifying era of cell phone nostalgia is upon us. Flee!
The BW-A888 "retro brick cover" makes its appropriately-sized handset resemble a Nokia cinderblock from the 1980s, clipping onto the slimline modern model and offering extra battery life, a better speakerphone, and a compass.
I can deal with the new Startac; they're lovely. But this thing will be bought primarily by yuppies who think that it's funny and clever, before becoming a sad, ubiquitous, fetid craze, like plushie cellphone covers and Swarovsky crystals.
