Of course, currency conversion says it costs over $50 even before shipping, just for a 512 mb drive, but DAMN.

Damn indeed. Although we will not agree that this incredible USB key drive is Mickey Mouse meets Cthulhu — it's clearly Mickey Mouse meets Cephalopod — this ought to be standard issue for both ToM readers and ToM bloggers.
