Fuel cell specialist Medis Technologies says it has started production on a recharging device for Microsoft.
The device uses a proprietary alkaline fuel to recharge batteries for an as-yet-unnamed portable device when the user is unable to find an electrical outlet.
Medis wouldn't say which device its recharger will pair with, and Microsoft hasn't commented yet. Likely suspects supposedly include the Zune--Yeah, remote battery recharging! And pink! That'll turn the product around! But feel free to make up your own theory about a handheld Xbox or some new kind of superphone.
