
Eben Moglen, Free Software Foundation general counsel and founder of the Software Freedom Law Center, is stepping down from his position on the FSF's board of directors. Moglen explains his decision (eloquently, as always) on his blog. Now that he and the FSF team have finished work on the GPLv3,he feels it's the right time to move on:
Moglen plans to spend more time working with the SFLC. He's also going back to Columbia University to teach and to write. If he plans on churning out more articles as thought-provoking and awesome as "The dotCommunist Manifesto," then more power to him.
