As well as their obvious design chops, Apple has possibly the best PR machine in techdom. They can whip the most staid customers into a frothing frenzy of desire. The latest fuel on the iPhone fire is an email sent to customers who have pre-ordered Apple's soon-to-be-newest gizmo. This pic is a little small, so here's what it says:
This is certainly in keeping with Steve Jobs' "Out in June" promise when the iPhone was previewed, and also the recent story pointing to a June 11 release.
The trouble is, even when this is all over we'll still have Leopard to worry about, and then whatever Apple decides is the next thing we never knew we wanted but suddenly just must have.
