Two years on, the PSP is finally getting an honest-to-goodness price drop*. The "Core" version of Sony's embattled portable game system will drop from $200 to $170 tomorrow, as per the point-of-purchase materials just received by GameStop and EB stores.
PSP really needs it. No word on whether the price drop will be matched in Japan, where it really really needs it.
*Some people will try and tell you that PSP had a price drop last year, but it was just Sony belatedly introducing the Core SKU into the US market. Don't drink the Kool-Aid!
