It's a neat design mockup, this image of a hypothetical Apple Media Center, as derived from last week's filing at the US Trademark and Patent Office. With a "modular controller," thought to be AppleTV by any other name, sat atop it, the small form-factor optical drive below would offer DVD, CD and high-def format playback.
It's such a neat mockup, I'm tempted to offer my own:
