The Ubiquio 503G—it's supposed to be "UBiQUiO," but one moronic madcap midcap is my limit—looks good, shows Windows Mobile 6 colors and features quad-band GSM, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera.

Ubiquio's qwerty keyboard looks about as well-designed as these things can be, given that they're intrinsically useless for anything more than tapping out unpunctuated instant-messaged AOLspeak, but unlike some of the recent smartphones of similar look and feel, this thing has a proper touchscreen and a grunty CPU, weighing in at 520 MHz.

Expect to see it in June for $650, grabbing some meek level of public mindshare before it, and everything like it, is torpedoed into obscurity by the cheaper iPhone.
