Amanda Tapping of Stargate fame gets into the pay-to-play game with a new web series called Sanctuary. The show uses 3D virtual green screen backdrops as Tapping playing Dr. Helen Magnus, investigates mutant freaks with her protégé Zimmerman (Robin Dunne, Dawson’s Creek,) and spunky daughter (Emilie Ullerup, Battlestar Galactica).
Tapping also executive produces the series, written by Damian Kindler and directed by her pal from Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis Martin Wood.
The first of eight 15-minute webisodes can be viewed in both both standard and high-definition resolutions, at www.sanctuaryforall.com.
